From the steering committee of the  European Traumatic Shock Survey – (ETRAUSS).

This survey has been endorsed by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, ESICM. The survey aims to describe current critical care practices in the initial management of patients with traumatic haemorrhagic shock in Europe and compare these practices with contemporary guidelines. The results will facilitate research and clinical cooperation and help to generate new research hypotheses.

We would like to facilitate the participation of as many European trauma care providers as possible. Unfortunately the response rate from Norway is still rather low, although Norway has a very strong trauma culture. The deadline for the survey is the first of June.

For this reason we kindly ask you to spread the information among the members of the Trauma community of your country and help us to find other contacts among trauma care providers in Norway. The Swiss Trauma Society has for example posted a link on their homepage and send a blast email. Please find the link to the survey on the ESICM homepage: http://www.esicm.org/news-article/survey-month-TEM-haemorrhagic-shock.

We thank you so much in advance for your help. We are looking forward to your answer and your participation

Best regards on the behalf of the steering committee,

Tobias Gauss
